MEET THE CLIENT SERVICE STAFF AT PACIFIC ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Kimberly started her career in the veterinary field just out of high school. After leaving the work force for a number of years in order to raise her family, she returned to the field joining the team at Pacific Animal Hospital in 2002. She was fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple of years living abroad in American Samoa where she was able to assist the local humane society and work with the volunteer organization Animal Balance to help provide much needed medical care, as well as spaying and neutering, to the animals of this island. Although Kimberly has worked as both a receptionist and technician with Pacific Animal Hospital, and continues to do so on occasion, she is currently our Business Manager. Kimberly continues to be passionate about her chosen field and loves working with both the pets and their wonderful people! She has many animals of her own including a cat, a pit bull, two Chihuahuas and two Samoan "purebreds" which she brought home with her from her time in Samoa.
Maria joined PAH in 2014 as our Client Service Manager. Her father is a retired professional Jockey whose love for animals rubbed off on Maria. Although a lover of horses, she prefers working with smaller, more "reachable" pets! Maria attended Cal Poly University, Pomona and majored in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary. Then traveled to Pierce College in Woodland Hills and completed the Animal Health Technology course. Having started as a teenager, Maria has been working in the animal care field for over 35 years. For 28 years, Maria managed well-known pet resorts in San Diego and Orange County. She is proud to be back working in the veterinary hospital field. Maria and family live in Carlsbad with their little Chihuahua diva named Khloe. Church, family, traveling and all over fun and relaxation is what Maria loves to do on her time off.
Desiree has been grooming for 10 years. Her love and passion for animals as a groomer doesn't stop there. She also completed vet tech courses and always wants to continue learning in the animal care field. Desiree truly loves working with the public and animals. She wants to expand her knowledge and skills while working at PAH. Desiree is owned by beautiful Estee, a 10 year old Pitbull.
Cassie has lived in Southern California her whole life, moving between Temecula and North County. She started working with animals in 2013, starting with volunteering at a shelter, working for a short time at a kennel, then finally working her way into veterinary medicine. Her passion is ensuring people are properly educated on animal care and training in hopes of decreasing the number of pets in the shelters. She enjoys crocheting, reading, the beach, and going to concerts. She spends most of her time with PJ (a Belgium Shepherd mix), Ellie (a standard dachshund mix), and Rollie (her boyfriend's pug).
Jennifer has always had a love of animals. Her first job was at a feed store where she began to learn the fundamentals of animal husbandry. She was hooked and soon secured a position at a local Animal Hospital. She started in the front office and soon crossed over to become a technician. Since she has started an animal rescue, became a AKC CGC Evaluator, been a pet food representative, and technician for a Veterinary Internist. Jennifer is driven to constantly increase her knowledge, skill and ability. At work, Jennifer enjoys interacting with clients and their pets. She is always happy to help whenever possible. At home, Jennifer is kept busy by her husband, Texas Heeler, Mini Aussie and 3 cats. Most free time is spent enjoying the outdoors, gardening and home brewing.
Kseniya has had a love for animals since a very young age. She always had animals growing up even when she lived in Russia. As of now her little zoo consists of a beautiful Siberian Husky, a chinchilla, a bunny, a rat, and a hamster. Kseniya started off as a veterinary assistant a few years ago but has moved up to being a receptionist. She absolutely loves it and the wonderful team she gets to work with everyday. Being a receptionist isn’t the only job that Kseniya has. She also runs an adult hockey league. With her free time Kseniya goes to Disneyland, spends time with her family, plays with her fur babies, draws, and goes on adventures with her friends.
Linda has been part of the Pacific Animal Hospital team since March 2008. Linda decided to work in veterinary medicine because she felt it would be rewarding and challenging at the same time. The highlight of her day is working with the clients and seeing the joy and satisfaction her job brings to them and their pets. Her goal is to continue to learn new things in veterinary medicine so she can provide the best care for people and their four-legged children. Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her family. She has five children and seven grandchildren, along with her dog Daisy.
